Add protection and a variety of accessories to your Canon EOS R5 or R6 camera with this Camera Cage with Side Handle Kit from SmallRig. The kit includes a full, formfitting camera cage, a wooden side handle, and an HDMI/USB Type-C cable clamp.
The Cage provides protection for the camera and a wide range of accessories mounting points to make a convenient work of videography. It is secured to a camera via one 1/4"-20 screw and two locating pins, with silicone cushions on the top and bottom to prevent scratches. The cage features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for attaching many accessories. Its top comes with a cold shoe mount for microphones and LED lights. A built-in spanner removes bottom screws and can be slid out from the side without interfering with the attachment of a quick release plate. Also, the cage’s bottom Arca-type quick release plate and 1/4"-20 threaded holes allow connecting the original DJI RS2/RSC2 Arca-type plate, which can be mounted onto DJI RS2/RSC2 Manfrotto quick release plate and then onto the stabilizer.
The cable clamp is designed to prevent the camera's HDMI and USB Type-C cables from accidentally disconnecting.
The smooth wooden handle attaches to a sliding mechanism that allows you to slide the handle up and down for your preferred position.
